Auditing is an art.  Manipulation of all skillsets and resources, motivating all the wisdoms and interpersonal tricks, tackful, sneaky, but never loosing the essense of quality of a human being.  A good methodology of performing an auidt project should be on the top of all manual endeavor.  Knowing all the SFAS rules inside and out is definitely enables an auditor to bravely apply his wisdom.  Facing pressing challenges, but never get frightened by these big guys...they just being old, so you just have to be the same old or even older.   You have to suffer more than them in a much shorter accumualted period.  Being suffered from the limits of yourself, and being keeping tortured for a while, hold it on baby, you will be unbeatable and powerful, soon, very soon.   Dream about it : talking to your auditees like talking to your kids, dealing a never-seen-before situation like you have been doing it forever, and never feel the passage of time while performing the work, not even a penny pain... I am dealing it and I know I will make it some day.  Feel at home, this is a magic world...I will never be better off than feeling in this way.
